NEWS & NOTES
The three “forms of prayer statues”
(valued at about $24,000) – forgiveness and repentance, petition and
intercession, praise and thanksgiving, were once on the back interior
wall of the sanctuary. They were taken down and somehow became broken.
I found them in the old cemetery shed and picked them up with the help
of Bill Duzen. After Jay Addison repaired and restored them, Bill Duzen,
Kevin and Al Endres secured them to the church’s exterior wall. I
helped, with a gash on the forehead to prove it. With gratitude to all,
these solid marble forms remain an inspiration. -
Father Nowak
(Former Pastor)
