Little Rock Scripture Study
A
7-week course, on
Tuesdays, Jan. 22 – March 4, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the
parish hall; parallel sessions will be held on Wednesdays, Jan. 23 – March
5, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria, and on Saturdays,
Jan. 26 - March 8, 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon, in the chapel. It explores
the first half of the Old Testament history, theology, and stories, from the
creation accounts of Genesis to the fall of the Northern Kingdom and its
prophets. The
registration fee is $20.00 and it covers all study books, DVD, guest
presenter’s stipend, and printing of the participants’ pictorial directory.
Each meeting will consist of group
discussion and prayer, video or guest speaker presentation, Q&A, social.
A well trained and committed group of
facilitators will lead small discussion groups and a priest will be
available to answer questions and to participate in the discussions. No
prior Bible study experience is required; members of other parishes and
congregations, including non-Catholics are warmly welcome. Please make your
